Velvet is a 58-pound girl with the biggest, happiest smile. She came to the shelter when her family could no longer care for her and is now ready for a fresh start. Velvet is housetrained and crate trained, loves her toys, and enjoys relaxing on the couch. She has a calm, gentle nature but can feel a little unsure in the shelter environment at first. She may be nervous around other dogs initially, but warms up quickly and would just like to meet any potential dog siblings before heading home. Velvet is a sweet girl looking for a loving home where she can feel safe and settled.
